2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible in Burnt Orange with a zippy 1.6 litre supercharged engine, finished off with an automatic transmission, complete with flappy paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Only traveled low kilometres, and now that summer is upon us, you will love the convertible roof! The roof is excellent condition, and is fully automatic. The car has been maintained carefully and has been a reliable daily driver. It also has near-new run flat tires all round and drives superbly. The reason for sale is as we are starting a family, we will be needing a much bigger car.
Car runs but needs clutch cylinder, only surface rust, has undercoat on front left guard, no interior mat. a few minor dings, front belly pan needs straightening. Was a farmers ute and a one owner from new.
Here we have an original HQ V8 4 speed manual ute. It was originally white with a 253 V8. The ute has been transformed into a Sandman replica with a 308 engine now fitted. The ute underwent a bare metal body restoration with all rust sections cut out and replaced with sheet metal sections. It has been painted in Barbados Green, 2pack clear over base inside and out. The gts front fenders are genuine not with welded in flutes. The interior is all new. New seats, headlining, carpet, door trims, sandman/gts steering wheel, gts dash with new fascia and lenses. the console is original HQ console and is mint. All of the glass in the ute is new including door, front and rear windscreens. All of the chrome is new, the stainless trim has been all polished and the light lenses (front and back) are all new. All new rubbers, seals etc. The 308 is a black motor and is standard with a Rochester carby and genuine aircleaner. It has power steering and has aircon fitted but not physically plumbed up. The front and rear suspension have been rebuilt, as have the front disc brakes.(New rotors, rebuilt calipers, etc). The ute has been lowered all round to give it a tough stance. The gts wheels have been blasted and painted in the original colours. The ute genuine power windows fitted with a 2 gang switch fitted (new from an el camino) in the rear ashtray section of the console so not to spoil the appearance of the new door trims. A new flat tonneau cover has been fitted with press studs. This drives awesome and is extremely reliable. I am looking at also swaps/trades of another classic/muscle car up to the value of $29,500k in similar condition. Genuine enquiries only. Will help with interstate bidders with organising transport. All funds must have cleared into my bank account prior to vehicle
Bodied by Burlington Carriage Co of Coventry. This car was delivered to Coventry Motors of Grote St Adelaide in completely built up form. in 1926. Car is presently on club registration and is not transferable. Car was restored in mid to late 1960’s to a very high standard and is still in very good condition. There are a couple of paint blemishes but overall for its age is still very acceptable The huge bonus with this car is the vast quantity of spare parts which have been accumulated. There are enough engine parts to make 7 complete motors minus push rods. Engine parts will require machining. Parts include leaf springs, spare rim, radiator shroud, diff parts, electrical items (magnitos etc) just to name a few. Too many to mention here. An inspection will not disappoint. Drives and runs very well. All gauges work along with all lights.Has period indicators which look like they came from manufacture. Converted to 12volt. Generator not charging at the moment but an easy fix for the electrical minded person. Also has EJ holden gearbox as well as the original but have everything to remove this and return to original. This was done in the 60’s by the restorer as having new gears made would have been cost prohibitive. This modification has been sanctioned by the club and is duly noted in the log book. An inspection of all the spares is a must as it is vast
