1962 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK11A BJ7 READY FOR A NEW LEASE OF LIFE On this Healey the chassis and bulkheads have been stripped, sand blasted and repaired where necessary. They have been caulked, epoxy primed and painted in 2 pack -Healey Blue Metallic- Paint. This assembly has been jigged and aligned to ensure a true basis on which to build an excellent quality car. The chassis had the top mounts for the rear telescopic shock absorbers already fitted. The body panels are in very good original condition and are already primed and trial aligned for gapping and perfect fit. The front and rear suspension has been re-installed with new parts as required, so as to present a -rolling ''car. The hardest part of restoration is very nearly complete. All mechanicals and assembly work is probably within the capability of most -home restorers- but being Healey restorers, we are only too happy to help out with any work that you are not comfortable with. As can be seen in the parts photos, all major componentry, as removed, is included and only -consumables- or parts normally replaced during a comprehensive restoration are missing. All these are readily available, new and it is anticipated will be replaced.
