1965 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MKIII ROADSTER BRAND NEW CHASSIS AND HEAPS OF POTENTIAL One of the last Big Healey's ever made, this Phase 3--3000 MK111 Roadster was originally a Healey Blue Colour with Matching ORIGINAL Blue Leather Interior, (most were Vinyl). The car was fully optioned when new---As detailed on the Heritage Certificate which will pass to the purchaser. Certainly ticked all the boxes when new. When purchased, our inspection revealed significant Corrosion in the Chassis structure. The car was then completely dismantled to complete our assessment, and it was determined to construct a new jigged chassis. This allowed our team to ensure alignment of all structural members was to better than original specifications. This exercise included the Bulkheads being Repaired, Re-Fitted and Re-Aligned correctly. All body panels have been stripped to bare metal (both steel and alloy components)and whilst still needing some fettling, are an excellent basis to continue---no surprises will await you. Included with the car are necessary major mechanical components to assemble the car. For the component enthusiast, this is certainly the basis for a restoration of the most sought after late model Big Healey.
