Here, we have a gorgeous yellow '70 Boss 302 that we've literally just completed. The car has 0 miles on a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration in our shop. It was a very original Boss 302 prior to resto, and needed very little, parts wise, to bring it to a complete concours status. It had magnum 500 wheels when we bought it, but we tracked down a set of the factory, now very hard to find, 15" x 7" steel Boss rims, hub cap and trim rings and also spent a few years finding genuine original 'sized' Polyglas tyres/tires (catering to our American 'websiters'!) for it, rather than repop's. This Boss 302 had traveled only 61k original miles when we bought it, the engine was still original, standard bore, had never been rebuilt and was very tired. It's very unusual to find a Boss 302 with the original engine, as the original pistons had a habit of 'letting fly' out the side of the block, after cracking a piston skirt. During the restoration process, we rebuilt every mechanical item on this car, from the steering box to the third member, trans & engine, with no expense spared on building it right. The engine was then installed in another driver Boss 302 of ours to 'run it in', before being removed, concours detailed and thrown into this car, so that the car would appear completely brand new, clean and have no need to be driven until shown/concours'd. Naturally, being a concours car, the under carriage is highly detailed and is extremely correct with factory overspray, and paint markings reproduced as found or noted on low mileage original Boss 302's of a similar build time and factory. We were stoked with the engine rebuild and sound. For a Boss with an original style exhaust system, it sounds pretty tough! Nice lumpy cam trying desperately to get through that original type exhaust, but it's threatening, that's for sure. Starts and idles perfectly, as depicted in the below video of the car idling cold. It's a well optioned Boss, too. The Deluxe 'Marti' report on hand, suggests that it was factory fitted with the front & rear spoilers, trim rings and hub caps, 3.50:1 traction lok 9" 31 spline rear end with a wide ratio transmission (the best combo for that rear end), power steering, AM radio (which works a treat..!), decor group (of which this car still retains its original headliner, seat & door trims and they're beautiful..!) and tachometer. The factory rimblow steering wheel has been sent out and restored to new condition, as have the dash pods, which were 'vacuum metalised', as original. We've presented this Boss 302 as close to a brand new car as we can create, in 2012. This is a Boss 302, for someone who is looking for the best. A gold standard Boss that they can show, concours, drive, or a combination of all. Interestingly, most of this cars history is known from new and it has been in Australia for about 10 years now. We've just acquired an absolutely stunning 27k original mile, completely unrestored, 100% original paint and trim, one owner '68 C code/auto fastback in Los Angeles. The paint on this car is beautiful for a car of this age. Pictured above, we've polished the paint and given it a very quick clean inside. The friendly 95 yr old original owner that sold us the car, said that she absolutely loved this car, but stopped driving it as the 'young ones' would try and race her in it. This fastback still maintains its original spark plugs, leads, fan belt etc and is super, super original in every regard that we've been able to inspect. We've received a Deluxe Report for the car from MartiAuto and it naturally verifies everything that you see as being correct. It's a Los Angeles original, Wimbledon white/blue trim vehicle and demonstrates in every regard, that it's a 27k mile car. It drives very well, too. The car is now on display in Kevin Marti's new museum in Phoenix, Arizona and inspections are by appointment only. Contact Sean if you're interested in a gorgeous genuine survivor car for your collection. We're only asking $40k AU for this car. www.bosskraft.com or email bosskraft@hotmail.com

RARE1964 1/2 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE. A TRUE ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED COLLECTORS ITEM. 260 V8, 3 speed manual. Full mechanical restoration and rebuild at a cost of over $20,000 with full photographic record. Kept 1964 1/2 original except for power front disc brake conversion and discrete suspension upgrade so it goes, handles and stops like a modern car, not like a 1964 Ford Falcon. New seat upholstery and carpets, new top, new fuel tank but otherwise all 1964 1/2 original. Original 1964 paint which is 3-4 out of 10, so at the moment it is a true "rat rod". This car was built at Dearborn on 9 June 1964 in the third month of Mustang production. It was sold new off the showroom floor on 26 June 1964 to a San Francisco motorcycle cop who was also a Colonel in the US National Guard. It was last registered in 1975. He kept it until his death, never modifying it. Purchased from his widow several years ago, it is a genuine 2 owner car. Rust free. Has original hand book and sales receipt. Come with its original 1964 California black plates. This is a car for the purist Mustang collector. It has not had 10 owners, has not been modified over the last 50 years or been given a "Mexican" restoration. Inspection welcome. Ph 0412 346838.
