SN3154 1970 MGB GT REG:UNREG. CHASSIS N0: GHD5/211384G ENGINE NO: 18GGWEH15467 $18,500 (Inc GST, Excl Govt Charges if Applicable) GRAND TOURER The MGB GT was designed by Pininfarina and is credited with being the first of the Sporty Hatchback style of vehicle. The GT is a 2+2 design with adequate glass area and spacious luggage capacity. Acceleration is slightly slower than a MGB Roadster due to a little extra weight, but top speed is 5mph greater due to more efficient aerodynamics. Although the GT may not provide the traditional ìwind in the hairî of the roadster your companion and yourself will arrive at your destination fresher and more relaxed. This attractive Mid-Blue MGB GT is a very good example of this popular model. Paint is very good, the engine bay is excellent being very clean, well presented and also close to original. On the road the GT performs as one would expect it to from a proven package that hasn't been fiddled with. Mechanically this car has been very well maintained by an enthusiastic owner and an inspection and test drive will not leave you dissappointed. The one you have been waiting for. An A1 condition 1979 convertible green MG in perfect working order. Looks like a dream and runs like a dream. Registered until September 2015. All paperwork in order and records of all work done. Devastated to have to let it go! Brilliant on a freeway (I drive her to Canberra) and on short trips (obviously a hit at the beach). Has never let me down. Radio and CD player, original tan roof (the classic U.S. model), original wood steering wheel, original almost everything. Have a look - it is impossible to be disappointed.
My M.G. was fully restored, with the exception of the engine, 6 years ago. Since then I have fully reconditioned the engine, had the Air Con.system rebuilt, fitted new carpets and had the brakes overhauled. The Air Con. is a great asset on club runs.
