1986 G MODEL HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR MANY YEARS AS EVIDENT BY ITS 22800 KM. BIKE IS CLEAN AND TIDY, EXHAUST IS ORIGINAL AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. STARTS AND RUNS WITH THE CHOKE ON BUT NOT OFF SO CARBS WILL NEED CLEANING. SOMEONE HAS REPAINTED THE BIKE AT SOME STAGE AND IT LOOKS GREAT FROM 10 FEET AWAY BUT UP CLOSE ITS A LITTLE ROUGH. HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED IN QLD AND HAS ITS L01 MOD PLATE, ORIGINALLY FROM JAPAN HENCE THE RARE PAINT SCHEME. Faults; Paint is faded. It looks fine at a distance and is plenty good enough as a ridden bike. To be the showpiece that is really should be would require at least a cut n polish, but realistically an easy respray. No prep needed there is no rust or dents. Right hand mirror. As shown last pic, it has been broken off with that small piece of faring missing. This is only a cosmetic issue at all. Seat as can see is split. No battery it died years ago. CAN OFFER UP TO 4 MONTHS LAYBY ON THIS BIKE

THIS IS A 2 OWNER BIKE AND HAS NEVER BEEN DROPPED, THEY ARE AN INLINE 4 CYLINDER WITH FANTASTIC HANDLING. SEE WHAT CYCLE MAGAZINE SAYS ABOUT THEM BELOW. As the magazines of the day discovered, no other sportbike could match the Hurricane's marvelously balanced, accessible mix of horsepower and handling at any price, let alone the Hurricane's affordable sticker. The esteemed Cycle magazine dubbed the Hurricane "The best Japanese motorcycle we have ever tested" in its May, 1987 issue. The Hurricane engine redlined at 12,000 rpm and cranked out 85 horsepower at eleven grand—enough power to make the Hurricane the first 600cc sportbike to cover a quarter-mile in under 11 seconds.
