The Audi SQ7 TFSI has seen the engine overhauled and a few little tweaks for the 2023 edition. But it has some heavy-hitting luxury competitors. Are its engine specs enough for it to hold it's own?

The previous Audi SQ7 TDI was a performance seven-seater SUV diesel V8 with remarkable torque and exceptional economy. But that's been swept aside by the SQ7 TFSI, featuring a 4.0-litre petrol V8 instead. Keenly priced against its largely petrol-powered rivals, the MY23 model offers stronger acceleration, better handling and more refinement, but it also drinks much more fuel than before.

Another facelift for the Audi Q7 has been revealed, with the Four Ring Brand's large SUV refreshed for its current generation to go on selling for almost a decade.
